Donor Advised Funds
What is a Donor Advised Fund
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a way for individuals, families, and organizations to donate money to a charitable fund and receive an immediate tax deduction. The money is then managed by a sponsoring organization, and the donor can suggest which charities should receive grants from the fund. The sponsoring organization handles administrative tasks and ensures compliance with regulations. DAFs offer simplicity, tax benefits, potential investment growth, and the option for anonymity.
