Janine Shelborne | Executive Director

Janine serves as the Executive Director of Wesley Chapel Mission Center, where she has faithfully contributed for the past six years. She began her journey in the High School Program as a teacher, later advancing to High School Coordinator, and now serves as Director of Program.

Her deep love for what Wesley Chapel Mission Center represents, her dedication to the children she serves, and her devotion to Christ continue to guide and motivate her in the calling God has placed on her life. A native of Cincinnati, Janine is a proud mother of four wonderful children and grandmother to three energetic grandsons.

Her ongoing goal is to reflect Jesus in all she does while keeping children at the center of her work—helping them thrive in mind, body, and soul. Janine truly embodies the mission of Wesley Chapel Mission Center, consistently blending faith and creativity into thoughtful action to help make WCMC a welcoming and nurturing place for the community.

Jonathan Garrett | Director of Operations

Introducing Jonathan Garrett, our dedicated and dynamic Director of Operations at Wesley Chapel Mission Center. With a strong ministry background and a solid foundation in theology, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization. He is an alumnus of Cincinnati Christian University, where he honed his theological insights and cultivated his passion for service. He served diligently at the university until its unfortunate closure in 2020. Beyond his professional commitments, Jonathan finds joy in the arts, watching sports, reading, gaming,  cooking, and music.  Before joining Wesley Chapel Mission Center, Jonathan contributed his skills and charisma to Northern Kentucky University, leaving an indelible mark with his unique blend of humor and warmth. Armed with Master of Arts degrees in Leadership, Public Theology and Philosophy, Jonathan brings a deep understanding of faith and compassion to his role. He is also certified in executive leadership, diversity, and character coaching. His dedication to ministry, coupled with his genuine spirit, aligns seamlessly with the mission and values of Wesley Chapel Mission Center.

Jarice Ewell | Director of Program

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Directors Team, Jarice Ewell!

Jarice has been a part of Wesley Chapel for the past four years. He first joined the team as the Middler Coordinator, where he quickly made a lasting impact through his leadership, dedication, and heart for students. Over the years, Jarice has continued to grow in his role and serve our community with excellence. Jarice is also a big Ohio State fan and holds a degree in Criminal Justice. His passion for people, leadership, and mentorship continues to make a positive impact on everyone around him. We’re excited to see him step into this new position and look forward to all the ways he will continue to lead and support the mission of Wesley.
