High School Program

Mon - Fri | 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Our High School Program is open year-round.

Youth in grades 7-12, from various high schools around the city, gather Monday-Friday at our center to work on their homework, deepen their faith in God, learn life skills such as cooking and financial literacy, explore career opportunities, and go on college visits. We regularly invite special guest speakers to share their knowledge and experiences with the youth.

Once a week, our high schoolers cook a meal together and have fellowship around a family-style meal. Students who attend this program on Tuesdays and Thursdays can also participate in Technology Club, which exposes them to robotics, coding, 3D printing, and more. Once a month, the students organize, lead, and participate in community service projects. We believe it is important for young people to feel included in making a difference in their community. Recently we have added a “Driver’s Prep” course in which students study traffic laws and practice driving on a driving simulator.

Our hope for our high school program is to remove any barriers that would otherwise prevent our students from developing as thriving community members. Students in this program can also apply to be in our job training program known as Junior Assistants.
