Summer Camp 2024

For Primary and Middle School kids, Summer Camp is a 6-week long free day camp open to Pre-K to 6th grade kids with kids participating in academic activities, a healthy lunch, games, crafts, gardening, discovery trips and bible lessons. For High School kids, it offers 6 weeks of safe, productive activities like community trips, career visits, Bible study, service projects, life skills, golf, basketball, and gardening.

Family Reading Night

Thursday, April 25th | We held the last Family Reading Night for this academic year.


Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park Visit

Saturday, April 20th | We organized a field trip for students in all programs to the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, where we got to explore the park, learn about the various artists and eat a hearty lunch before heading back home!


Wright Patterson AFB Museum Visit

Monday, March 25th | We organized a field trip for students in all programs to the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Museum, where they learnt about aviation history and enjoyed a hearty lunch.

Culinary Class

Thursday, March 14th | The High School program took a culinary class with Chef G. at Our Daily Bread.


Advanced Trauma Care Training

Thursday, March 14th | WCMC team underwent the second round of Advanced Trauma Care Training, allowing us to better support the kids in our program. We are so grateful for Back2Back Ministries and Trauma Free World for helping us gain this crucial education.


State Representative Visits Program

Friday, March 8th | Ohio State Representative Dani Isaacsohn visited WCMC and interacted with the kids in the Primary Program.


Bike Club

Thursday, March 7th | The Bike Club completed their first set of bikes. Not only are they learning valuable skills in how to make bikes, but they also get to keep the bikes they make at the end of the program!


Family Reading Night

Thursday, February 22nd | We hosted the first Family Reading Night for this year. We learned about how important it is to read every night during developing years with our kids and about academic regression particularly over the summer.


Youth Advisory Board

Tuesday, February 20th | The Youth Advisory Board met with the City of Cincinnati Manager’s Office and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to address the rising issue of gun violence in our community.
